As we step into our 6th gathering, we return to the earth to find our strength and reconnect with our history. “Rooted” speaks to the foundational bonds we share, recognizing the queer ancestors who paved the way, and the present connections that sustain us. Like a vast forest network, we draw nourishment from each other, allowing every unique individual to stand tall while remaining deeply connected to the communal ground beneath our feet. This year, we celebrate the enduring power of our shared soil and we gather to acknowledge the history that anchors us and feel the collective strength that flows through our interconnected veins.
Once again, our forest home is calling us to dance, prance, frolic, and reconnect with each other and ourselves. With a little bit of that magic faerie dust, it’s time to get ready to root ourselves in community together.
We are a purposefully inclusive event centered on queer experiences. All are welcome! One of our intentions is to build stronger queer community through this event and we hope you will get a chance to join us in that.
What would a weekend in the woods be without some incredible queer art? Our team will be curating art leading up to the event. We also have opportunities for artists to apply for grants to create their art and showcase it at the event. Have some art you would like to share with the world? Bring it!
Is it camping or glamping? You decide. We've got tons of space for tents. Don't want to tent it? That's fine...bring your RV, grab a bed in the hotel-style lodge, reserve a cabin, or even a glamping tent. Your base ticket includes a camping ticket for the entire weekend on our gorgeous 132 acres of land. Yes, there are showers (luxury!) and a ton of space.
We love a good party! During the weekend, you can expect a number of curated musical experiences from our selection of incredible queer DJs. You'll be shaking your booty to house, disco, breakbeats, progressive, trance, and a variety of other hot beats.
Bring your most amazing idea to share with your queer fam! Our gathering will include a variety of co-created workshops, events, and activities. The organizers are setting a container for you to fill with the best things to share with our community. Always wanted to host a workshop, but never have? Don't worry...we are here to support you!
Hungry? You won't be! Your ticket includes two amazing meals per day (brunch and dinner). Our kitchen team will be making some magic through their alchemy of ingredients to satisfy vegans, vegetarians, and meat-eaters alike.
We are doing all we can to keep ticket costs low. We have multiple tiers of tickets, with our lowest "subsidized" tickets at a reduced cost. Our standard ticket price is $350 and we offer higher categories for those who have the resources to support others. We also offer free and reduced-price tickets for our community members who can't afford the full price.
