Tiny Tim

DJ Tiny Tim (Tim Parker)started DJ’ing with a belt-driven pair or NuMark Turntables back in 2003. Being a raver in the 90’s, he was inspired by the styles of DJ Dan, Carl Cox, Donald Glaude, Mike Barrett, and Dave Armstrong. As a result, Tim made an entrance into the world of Funky/Jackin’ House. Tiny Tim started off playing raves and shows in Seattle, ultimately landing a recurring job in a local Seattle bar. A Bay Area native, he decided to return home where he broke into the Bay Area House scene. Currently, Tim produces a weekly broadcast of Funk Factor, while producing tracks and making appearances in the Bay Area and Los Angeles scenes. DJ Tiny Tim loves to play music that comes from the souls of his feet and translates to the decks.

Nate Manic

Nate got his start in the 90’s rave scene of Madison, WI and moved to Chicago in 2000.  He eventually rose in the ranks there until he was hired as the head Talent Buyer and Music Director for the nightlife institution Smart Bar (2009-2013).  He was responsible for the creation of Smartbar’s Sunday night party Queen! featuring residents Derrick Carter, Michael Serafini, Garrett David and the late Frankie Knuckles.  He was instrumental in giving a helping hand to his at-the-time assistant and eventual successor there, the Blessed Madonna.  He established long standing connections between the club and esteemed global entities such as Berghain/Ostgut and cemented Smartbar’s reputation as a supporter of Chicago’s Queer community.

In 2014 Nate took a break from nightlife and relocated to Oakland.  2019 saw an energetic return to DJing as he enjoyed slots at clubs and institutions all over the Bay such as Public Works, F8, Dudes and Disco, The Stud, Polyglamorous, Sutro FM, Fault Radio and many more.  He has also enjoyed mentoring a number of DJs around the Bay Area including his DJ child, protégé and partner, Charles Hawthorne. The Pandemic led Nate to refocus his efforts and it is his return to production and label management that has given him the most excitement as of late.  Through Quaint But Extra he released his self-titled debut album on May 7th, 2021 to very positive reviews from Bandcamp Daily, Resident Advisor, Chicago’s 5 Magazine and SF’s Fault Radio.

Critical Value

Critical value (Justin B) is a curator of fine melodic progressive house and trance tunes. Originally from Southern California, he got his start DJing in the Los Angeles music scene in 2001. Growing up in a Lebanese-American family, music was always an important part of his life. His first gigs were in dimly lit chill-out spaces of the back rooms of clubs. He later co-produced a “UK-style” queer weekly at a nightclub in L.A. Those experiences left a mark on his style today and he continues to be influenced by the rave scene, desert parties, dirty dirty house clubs, burning man, and sounds that remind him of home. Today, Critical Value wants to take you on a sonic journey through the deeper and darker parts of progressive house & trance. Although, don’t be surprised if you end up in other places too; perhaps some psy-trance, downtempo, tech-house, or even a few cheesy vocal trance numbers. He’s all about sharing the music that he loves to dance to with the hope that you’ll also fall in love.

Mr. Seago

Mr. Seago has been putting music in Bay Area ear holes since 2015. He’s known for funky west coast house beats that will get you up off the wall and out onto the dance floor shaking your booty, but if you get him in a mood, turn down the lights, and feed him the right concoctions he’ll take you on a techno inspired journey of electronic minimalism through the land of beeps, boops, and pew pew pews all while making sure that your inner disco diva is able to surface periodically to spread love and happiness throughout the land. If you try to put him in a box he’s likely to beat his head against the walls until the box falls over so that he can wander off like a cat given a toy that doesn’t contain enough nip.

DJ Frankie V

DJ Frankie Valentine aka Kitten aka Trouble aka Goldfish comes to you from Los Angeles, CA. Born in the bay, Frankie has been around the world and “I I I I can’t find my baby” Damn it, Goldfish! sorry, got distracted; try this again. Born in the Bay, Frankie has been around the world attending raves, festivals and music events since the age of 15. Getting an early start in the rave scene thanks to a couple fake IDs, Frankie attributes their love of Techno, Trance, and House to their days at Bill Graham, Ruby Skye, 12th Street, The Cow Palace, the warehouse scene, and their Mom for being the busy business lady that she was and not noticing when they snuck out of the house in mesh, eyeliner, PLUR bracelets, and red patent leather pants. Frankie is a lover of synth so you can usually hear them finding a way to throw some 80s mixes into their set – don’t worry… you’ll love it. When not in the DJ booth, Frankie can usually be found on the dance floor next to the speaker or being a social butterfly dancing their way through the crowd to get to the speaker. Valentine’s main mission is to have you dancing till the sun comes up with a smile on your face and look in your eyes that says, “Yes, I’ve been up all night BUT damn that was fun!” to all the strangers looking at you crazy because it’s 7 AM and you’re now in public going home in the same outfit from the night before. Frankie can’t wait to see you on the dance floor!
