Over these past four years, Something Queer has served as a space to celebrate our individuality, build community, and embody growth. We’ve created magic, memories, and countless connections, all through the power of Queer love. Now, it’s time we harness that energy and IGNITE the world around us. Last year, we asked you to Re:Imagine our world…this year, we’re inviting you to call upon your imagination, heart, and all of your Queer beauty to ignite our future. Now more than ever, we need your energy, passion, and purpose. Let’s spread queer joy through our communities and beyond with our art, music, and hearts. Together, we will activate our community and ignite.
Our forest home is calling us once again to dance, prance, frolic, and reconnect with each other and ourselves. So, slip on those heels and dust off the sequins as we get FIRED UP. Let’s blaze a trail together and look fabulous as we do it.
We are a purposefully inclusive event centered on queer experiences. All are welcome! One of our intentions is to build stronger queer community through this event and we hope you will get a chance to join us in that.
What would a weekend in the woods be without some incredible queer art? Our team will be curating art leading up to the event. We also have opportunities for artists to apply for grants to create their art and showcase it at the event. Have some art you would like to share with the world? Bring it!
Is it camping or glamping? You decide. We've got space for tents, RVs, and even a few cabin beds. Your base ticket includes a camping ticket for the entire weekend on our gorgeous 260 acres of land. Yes, there are showers (luxury!) and a ton of space.
We love a good party! During the weekend, you can expect a number of curated musical experiences from our selection of incredible queer DJs. You'll be shaking your booty to house, disco, progressive, trance, and a variety of other hot beats.
Bring your most amazing idea to share with your queer fam! Our gathering will include a variety of co-created workshops, events, and activities. The organizers are setting a container for you to fill with the best things to share with our community. Always wanted to host a workshop, but never have? Don't worry...we are here to support you!
Hungry? You won't be! Your ticket includes two amazing meals per day (brunch and dinner). Our kitchen team will be making some magic through their alchemy of ingredients to satisfy vegans, vegetarians, and meat-eaters alike.
We are doing all we can to keep ticket costs low. We have multiple tiers of tickets, with our lowest "subsidized" tickets at a reduced cost. Our standard ticket price is $340 and we offer higher categories for those who have the resources to support others. We also offer free and reduced-price tickets for our community members who can't afford the full price.
