When can I arrive and when do I need to leave by?

The event starts at 12noon on Friday May 10th and everyone needs to be off-site at noon on Monday May 13th.

How much are tickets.

You can read all about tickets on our ticketing page.

Can I bring my dog, cat, llama, peacock, or other animal?

No. Seriously. Check out the event rules for more info.

What is your policy on COVID?

Check out our health and safety information page for all those details.

Is this event only for queer people?

Our goal truly is to have a fully inclusive event. That said, there is something to be said about the creation of queer spaces. While we welcome everyone, we do ask those who are not queer to respect the fact that you are entering a queer space. If you have questions about what this might look like, please reach out to us at [email protected] so we can chat.

Am I going to get the ability to camp next to my car?

You can, if you end up buying a RV/Car Camping add-on ticket. Otherwise, you will need to park your car in our parking lot, which isn’t close to the camping spots. You will be able to off-load your gear closer to your campsite and then you can use hand trucks to move your gear to your site.

Is this event all ages?

No, the event is 18+. Please bring your ID!

I have reserved a bed or small private cabin, what should I bring?

For those of you who are staying in a small cabin OR have reserved a bed, you should not bring any bedding or a pillow. The venue provides those things. If you do want to bring your pillow, you will need to borrow ($10 refundable deposit from the main office) a pillow cover.

You should bring a towel (shower and beach), but towels are available to rent from the venue for $5.00

I am going to camp, what gear should I bring?

You should bring at least the following to camp comfortably:
– Tent
– Sleeping Pad or Cot
– Sleeping Bag or Bedding
– Headlamp or light of some sort

You should also bring a towel with you. Towels can be rented on site for $5.00

Need to get Camping Gear? You can always reach out to our friends at Last Minute Gear in San Francisco — they have camping gear to buy, rent, or borrow. We recommend doing this soon! If you are driving from the city to the venue and want to rent gear along the way, we suggest Sports Basement in Novato or Santa Rosa (depending on where you’re coming from).

What’s the shower situation like?

You’re in luck! Saratoga Springs has plenty of (actually pretty nice) showers for our entire group. Each of the large cabins has a dedicated bathroom and shower and the lodge has a few showers and toilets. There are showers (indoors and outdoors) at the pool (especially for those campers) and there are some outdoor showers throughout the venue. Each shower has hot water! If you are camping, you are welcome to use the showers at the pool or in the lodge (or any of the outdoor showers). We do ask that you rinse off before you get into the pool or hot tub.

Make sure to bring a towel and biodegradable shower soap! Towels can be rented on site for $5.00

Will there be Ice? What about water? I need to store something cold.

Yes! We will sell Ice on site to keep all of your beverages nice and cold. Ice will be $6 if paying by credit card and $5 if paying by cash.

There is filtered drinking water available throughout the entire venue. We won’t have any other drinks available (except for coffee and tea), so please bring anything else that you would like.

If you have something that you need to keep cold (such as medication), let our staff know when you check in and we will find a spot for you in the lodge refrigerator. Unfortunately, we can’t store beverages there…this is just for those who need a cold place to store something for medical or personal reasons.

Is Alcohol allowed? What about Cannabis?

Yes and Yes (for personal consumption only).

There are absolutely no alcohol or cannabis sales permitted at all under any circumstances. Individuals must be 21 years of age (or older) to be in possession of alcohol or cannabis in California.

Two important rules: (1) No glass (of any kind whatsoever) allowed in the gated pool area (including ceramic mugs) and (2) smoking (including vapes) can only happen in designated smoking areas throughout the venue (these are critical venue rules)

What are the things that I should NOT bring
  1. No pets of any type! If you have an ADA-approved working guide dog, please reach out to us. Companionship and emotional support animals as well as all pets are not allowed on the venue.
  2. GLASSWEAR! The venue has a very strict “no glass” policy inside of the fenced pool area. This includes ceramics. It’s critical that if you want to bring a water bottle, thermos, or even wine glasses, that they all be non-glass inside the pool fence (outside of that, it’s fine).
  3. Weapons of any type.
  4. Things that can start a fire — this includes camping stoves, gas lanterns, fire props, etc.
  5. Drama (well…a little’s okay, as long as you can handle some shade)
Is parking free? Is there a way to coordinate carpools or rideshares?

Yes and yes!! If you arrive on site via a vehicle, you’ll be asked to drop your gear off and then park your car in the lot for the weekend. The only exception are for those who either have a California Disabled Placard or have paid for an RV/car camping spot.

We have created a page for you to coordinate carpools/rideshares.

I forgot XXXX, is there someplace that I can buy it?

Not on site.

The closest store (Safeway, CVS, etc.) is about 20 minutes away in Lakeport. If you need something, tell one of the event staff to see if we can add it to our daily run into town (or, perhaps you can tag along with one of us).

Is there WiFi or Cell Service? What about Emergency Contact Info?

Of course we want you to try and unplug from your electronic devices and re:connect to your queer fam…but, we know that sometimes you need to use that device. On site cell service is not reliable (most of our team has AT&T and usually gets a bar or two at most). The venue does have WiFi available at the main lodge, but it’s pretty slow.

If you need to get in touch with a member of the production team, call or text us: 415-993-0040
If you need an Emergency Contact number for the venue, call: 707-275-9503

I want to sell/transfer my ticket…can I do that?

Yes, but there is a limitation. Our ticket policy states that tickets are not transferrable unless you use our ticket transfer system (linked here). When you use that system to transfer your ticket, the original purchaser will be refunded their ticket price (back to the original form of payment) and the new buyer will be charged. There should not be an exchange of money between parties, as our tickets are non-transferrable. If someone asks for you to paypal/venmo/cashapp/apple pay them, DON’T! This is the only way to ensure that tickets are genuine AND that your name appears on the ticket (which is required when you check in!).

You didn’t answer my question! What should I do?

Drop us a line — [email protected]. We will get back to you!

Please note: we will be updating this FAQ section as we see new questions arise.
