This is our final message before we see you on site tomorrow. Our crew is already on the way to the venue and we can’t wait to see your smiling faces! If you have questions, free to reach out if you have questions ([email protected]). You can also text us at 415-993-0040.

What time can I check in?

The event opens at noon on Friday May 12th and closes at noon on Monday May 15th. Our registration hours are:

Friday from noon – 10:00pm; Saturday from 9:00am – 6:00pm. Arriving outside of those hours? Just text us [415-993-0040]

Harm Reduction

Something Queer is a strong proponent of all things harm reduction. We will have a space on site and volunteer medical professionals. Fentanyl adulteration is real and has created a health crisis in the community. Please test anything that you decide to put in your body before you ingest it. We will have fentanyl test strips (with instructions) on site provided by our friends at https://endoverdose.net/ We also have naloxone (Narcan) and encourage you to bring some along with you (you can obtain nasal Naloxone from nearly any pharmacy in California without a prescription — you can also use GoodRX.com to locate low cost and free options). We ask that you take care of yourself while at the event — drink water, get some rest, and eat (you’ll want to eat…the food is AMAZING). Most importantly, we are a community that looks out for one another. If you think someone needs some help, ask them and check in with one of the event staff members.

Weather

The weather is going to be GREAT!

Who is ready for some pool weather?!?! Make sure you prepare for some warm days and nice evenings. Most of our programming is outside…nothing beats dancing under the stars! We suggest something warm to wear at night (it does get a bit cooler than you think, especially being in a canyon). Oh…bring (and wear) sunscreen!

What’s the Schedule Like?

For all of you planners out there, we’ve got some details! How about a schedule and a map? Don’t worry…we will have these posted on site for you! https://somethingqueer.com/map-schedule/

Camper Profile Forms and Waivers

It’s your last chance to fill out the camper profile. We will be turning the system off tomorrow morning as we head up to the site. Don’t forget that you won’t be able to download your ticket if you haven’t signed your waiver, so make sure you do that also.

Rideshares (we really want to get everyone up to the event!!!)

We have a number of folx who are looking for rides to the event. If you have any extra room (even just a seat), please bring a fellow attendee with you. Who knows…maybe you’ll meet your new bestie! We want to make sure that everyone has a way to the event, so please check out the board: https://www.somethingqueer.com/rideshare/

Don’t Forget to Bring…

  • Your ticket (digital copy is okay)
  • Your ID (for age verification)
  • Cash for ice if you need it ($5 per bag)
  • Something to share for the snack table
  • A towel for the pool and/or showers
